
If you want to get more information about each DTC, press “Read DTC” button once or twice according to the number of DTCs found during Check Engine mode test, then turn ignition switch OFF and wait for a few seconds before turning it back ON again. If no DTCs are found, you will see “No DTCs Found” on screen. If there are DTCs, you will see them on screen one by one in a few seconds after entering “Check Engine” mode. The device will automatically enter “Check Engine” mode in a few seconds. Turn ignition switch to ON position (engine off). Press “Check Engine” button once, then turn ignition switch OFF. Turn on ignition switch to ON position (engine off). Connect the device via OBDII cable to vehicle’s OBDII port.

LEFT SCROLL KEY – goes to previous character when looking up DTCs. In this case, the MIL lamp on the instrument panel is on. E.Red LED Display – indicates there are some problems in one or more of the vehicle’s systems. Pending DTCs exist or/and some of the vehicle’s emission monitors have not run their diagnostic testing.
